Stew Base
3 tsp butter
3 tsp flour
6 cups fish stock (or clam juice)
3 stalks celery, chopped

3 Tbsp onion, chopped
3 tsp tomato paste

I made this stew in my slow cooker and it turned out perfect. The stew was cooked on low for 8 hours and it was so tender and flavorful. I served it with crusty bread and it was a delicious meal.
