1/4 cup margarine, softened
18 1/2 ounces yellow cake mix

4 granny smith apples, peeled, cored, cut into wedges
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup granulated sugar

This was my first time making kuchen and I followed the recipe exactly. Unfortunately, my kuchen turned out dry and bland. I'm not sure what went wrong.

This kuchen was a bit too sweet for my taste, but my family loved it. I think I'll try using less sugar next time.
