Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease an 8x11-inch baking pan.
- Whisk 3 cups flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a medium bowl. Cut in butter with 2 knives or a pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in egg.
- Blend peaches and apples in a food processor. Add remaining flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg; mix well.
- Pat 2/3 of the dough into the bottom of the prepared baking pan. Pour in fruit filling and then crumble the rest of the dough over top.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 45 minutes.
