Asian Cucumber and Sesame Salad image

I am still trying to find a recipe that comes close to the Shanghai Cucumber dish at PF Chang's. I just found this on another website and here is what the chef had to say: "I am experimenting with cucumbers since I ate this cucumber thing at PF Chang's. This one is better than the first one and as close as I have gotten to PF Chang's cucumber appetizer. When you have drained the sauce that they are marinating in, try to pour some of the sauce over brown rice. It is really good!"

This salad is just okay. It's not bad, but it's not anything special either.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my salad didn't turn out as good as the picture. It was still pretty good, but not as flavorful as I was hoping.

This salad is a bit too bland for my taste. I think it needs more seasoning.

This salad is a great way to use up leftover cucumbers. I had a few cucumbers that were starting to go bad, so I decided to make this salad. It turned out great and I'm so glad I didn't let the cucumbers go to waste.
