Steps:
- Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Arrange the apricots, cut side up in a small baking dish that will hold them compactly in a single layer.
- Sprinkle with sugar, dot with butter and sprinkle with brandy.
- Place in the oven and bake until they are tender and beginning to brown, about 45 minutes. Allow to cool briefly, then serve.
