Baked Apricots image

Number Of Ingredients 4

3 large fresh apricots, pitted and halved
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon brandy

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Arrange the apricots, cut side up in a small baking dish that will hold them compactly in a single layer.
  • Sprinkle with sugar, dot with butter and sprinkle with brandy.
  • Place in the oven and bake until they are tender and beginning to brown, about 45 minutes. Allow to cool briefly, then serve.
