Baked Potatoes with All the Fixins image

4 baking potatoes
1 1/2 tablespoons canola oil
2 cups grated Cheddar
2 cups sour cream
1 cup bacon bits
1 stick butter, cut into cubes
1/2 cup chopped chives

Steps:

  • For the potatoes: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Place the potatoes on a baking sheet. Rub them with the canola oil and bake until they are cooked thoroughly and soft in the center, about 1 hour.
  • For the fixins: Put the Cheddar, sour cream, bacon bits, butter cubes and chives in separate bowls to serve on top of the potatoes.
