Beef Choufleur image

This is one of my Grandma's recipe's that I have enjoyed since I was little... it sounds kinda funny but it is AMAZING!!! And I'm picky! Hope everyone enjoys it!!!

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 lb boneless beef roast (1/2 inch squares)
2 tablespoons butter
1 small cauliflower head (Separated)
1 green bell pepper (3/4 inch pieces)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 garlic clove (Minced)
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 cup green onion
3 cups rice

Steps:

  • Brown meat in butter for about 5 minutes.
  • Add cauliflower, green pepper, soy sauce and garlic. Stir lightly to coat vegetables with soy sauce. Cover and simmer vegetables until barely tender (about 10 minutes).
  • In a separate bowl blend cornstarch, sugar and broth. Add to meat mixture with green onions.
  • Cook Stirring constantly until thoroughly heated and sauce is thickened.
  • Serve over a bed of rice.
