Camarones Acapulco (Shrimp Acapulco Style) image

From my favorite little cookbook "Low Fat Mexican Recipes." This cold dish is great when accompanied with a vegetable salad, warm quesadillas and hot Spanish rice. Note that cook time is chill time.

Tips:

  • Chill your cocktail coupe or glass before making the drink. This will help keep the drink cold and refreshing.
  • Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh limes, you can use bottled lime juice, but it won't be as good.
  • Don't skimp on the grenadine. It's what gives the Acapulco Sunrise its signature red color and sweet flavor.
  • Add a splash of club soda or seltzer water to give the drink a little fizz.
  • Garnish your drink with a lime wedge and a cherry for a festive touch.
  • Serve the Acapulco Sunrise immediately. It's best enjoyed fresh.

Conclusion:

The Acapulco Sunrise is a refreshing and tropical cocktail that's perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. So next time you're looking for a delicious and festive cocktail to serve, give the Acapulco Sunrise a try. You won't be disappointed.
