Tips:

  • Choose the right almonds. Slivered or sliced almonds work best for this recipe. If using whole almonds, be sure to chop them finely.
  • Use quality butter. Unsalted butter is best, as it allows you to control the amount of salt in the dough. If using salted butter, be sure to omit the additional salt called for in the recipe.
  • Chill the dough before baking. This will help the dough to hold its shape and prevent it from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the twists until they are golden brown. This will ensure that they are cooked through and have a crispy texture.
  • Allow the twists to cool slightly before serving. This will help them to hold their shape and prevent them from breaking.

Conclusion:

Almond twists are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, or simply as a snack. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create these tasty treats that are sure to be a hit. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy dessert, give almond twists a try.
