1 garlic clove
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil

1 pound angel hair pasta

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta. Combine the basil, pine nuts, garlic, and olive oil in a blender and blend to a puree. Add the cheese, salt and pepper, and blend again.

2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons chopped sweet onion
1 clove garlic, minced
⅔ cup heavy cream
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
¼ cup chopped fresh basil
1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the angel hair pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente. Once done, set aside 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta in a colander in the sink. Keep warm.
