  • Cool in pan on wire rack.
  • Just before serving, use foil strips to make striped design with powdered sugar, cocoa and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh applesauce, melted butter, and unsweetened cocoa powder will result in the best-tasting brownies.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can result in tough brownies. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the brownies until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached: Overbaking will result in dry brownies.
  • Let the brownies cool completely before cutting them: This will help them to set and prevent them from crumbling.
  • Serve the brownies with your favorite toppings: Ice cream, whipped cream, or a dusting of powdered sugar are all great options.

Conclusion:

These applesauce brownies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. They're moist, chocolatey, and have a hint of apple flavor that makes them irresistible. Whether you're serving them for dessert, a snack, or a party, these brownies are sure to be a hit.
