8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
2 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored, and diced
1 ⅓ cups barbeque sauce
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup raisins

1 lb pork sausage
1 (20 ounce) can baked beans
0.5 (10 ounce) can tomato soup
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 large apple
1/4 cup brown sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Core the apple and slice thinly.
  • Brown the sausage in a skillet. Drain well.
  • Stir in beans, soup, and pepper. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.

1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
Three 15-ounce cans navy beans
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Put the bacon in a large, cold cast-iron skillet and cook over medium heat until the fat renders and the bacon is almost crisp, about 8 minutes.
