Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs. If you're using chicken breasts, pound them to an even thickness so they cook evenly.
  • To make the apricot glaze, use fresh apricots or high-quality apricot preserves. If using preserves, be sure to taste them first and adjust the amount of honey or sugar you add accordingly.
  • To prevent the glaze from burning, baste the chicken every few minutes with the glaze. You can also tent the chicken with foil if it starts to brown too quickly.
  • Serve the grilled chicken with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice.

Conclusion:

Apricot glazed grilled chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that's perfect for a summer cookout. The sweet and tangy glaze complements the grilled chicken perfectly, and the chicken itself is moist and flavorful. With just a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a dish that your family and friends will love.
