Time 5m

Yield 10 large windows

Number Of Ingredients 2

1 cup white vinegar
3 cups water

Steps:

  • Mix both together in a bowl.
  • Transfer into a spray bottle.
  • Shake well, then spray onto dirty glass and wipe off with a crumbled up newspaper to get sparkling clean windows!

Tips:

  • For best results, use distilled or filtered water. Tap water can contain minerals that can leave streaks on your windows.
  • Use a clean microfiber cloth or newspaper to apply the cleaning solution. Avoid using paper towels, as they can leave lint behind.
  • Work in small sections, wiping the solution onto the glass in a circular motion. Rinse the cloth or newspaper frequently to avoid spreading dirt and streaks.
  • For heavily soiled windows, you may need to use a stronger cleaning solution. Try mixing equal parts white vinegar and water, or using a commercial glass cleaner.
  • To prevent streaks, dry the windows immediately after cleaning with a clean, dry microfiber cloth or newspaper.

Conclusion:

With these simple tips, you can easily achieve sparkling, crystal-clear windows that will let the natural light shine through. Whether you're cleaning your windows for a special occasion or just for everyday maintenance, these recipes will help you get the job done quickly and easily.
