Tips:
- Choose the right ground beef. Use an 80/20 ground beef for the best flavor and texture. This means that the beef is 80% lean and 20% fat.
- Season the ground beef well. Use a generous amount of salt, pepper, and garlic powder. You can also add other spices, such as onion powder, chili powder, or cumin.
- Mix the ground beef gently. Overmixing the beef will make it tough. Just mix it until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Form the hamburger steaks into patties. Make sure the patties are about 1-inch thick and 4 inches in diameter.
- Wrap each patty with bacon. Use 2-3 slices of bacon per patty. Make sure the bacon is evenly distributed around the patty.
- Cook the hamburger steaks over medium heat. Cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the bacon is crispy and the beef is cooked through.
- Serve the hamburger steaks immediately. Serve the steaks with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, green beans, or a salad.
Conclusion:
Bacon-wrapped hamburger steaks are a delicious and easy-to-make meal. They're perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a meal that your family and friends will love.
