1/2 c milk
4 large eggs, beaten
1/2 c unsalted butter
8 oz grated sharp white cheddar, or other white cheese

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh garlic and cheese will give your grits the best flavor.
  • Don't overcook the grits: Grits should be cooked until they are tender but still have a little bit of a bite to them.
  • Use a good quality cheese: A sharp cheddar cheese will give your grits a rich, cheesy flavor.
  • Add some extra flavor: You can add other ingredients to your grits to give them extra flavor, such as bacon, sausage, or vegetables.
  • Serve your grits hot: Grits are best served hot, so make sure you eat them right away.
