1 cup quick-cooking oats
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup each chopped green pepper, celery and onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 pounds ground beef
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed golden mushroom or cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
3/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the oats, eggs, green pepper, celery, onion and salt. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into eight oval patties. In a large skillet, brown patties on both sides; drain., Place patties in an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Combine the soup, water and pepper; pour over beef. Cover and bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until the meat is no longer pink.

3 pounds lean ground beef
1 ½ pounds lean ground pork
1 cup tomato - peeled, seeded and diced
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 onion, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
1 tablespoon salt
1 ½ teaspoons black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Lightly grease a large shallow baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, tomatoes, eggs, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix well. Shape into 12 (4-inch) round patties. Place in baking dish.

1/2 c quick cooking oats
1/2 c chopped green pepper
1/2 c chopped celery
1/2 c chopped onion
1/4 tsp salt & pepper
1 lb ground beef
3/4 can(s) cream of mushroom soup ; undiluted
1/2 c water

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl combine : egg , oats , green pepper , onion and salt.
  • 2. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well.
  • 3. Shape beef mixture into 4 oval patties.
  • 4. In a large skillet brown patties on both sides.
  • 5. Place patties in an un-greased 8x8 baking dish.
  • 6. Combine soup , water and pepper ; pour over top of beef ; cover.
  • 7. Bake @ 350 deg. for 30-35 minutes.
