3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
1 1/2 cups bite-size pretzel twists
1 1/2 cups bite-size cheese crackers
3/4 cup honey-roasted peanuts
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
3/4 teaspoon onion powder
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, pretzels, crackers and peanuts.
  • In medium bowl, mix remaining ingredients until well blended. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
  • Microwave uncovered on High 7 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on foil or paper towels to cool, about 15 minutes. Store in airtight container.

6 cups popcorn (1 1/2 ounces; see Cooks' notes)
2 cups coarsely broken blue corn tortilla chips (2 3/4 ounces)
2 cups Cheddar fish-shaped crackers or other cheese crackers (3 3/4 ounces)
2 cups corn nuts (6 1/2 ounces) or smokehouse almonds
1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons smoked paprika (sometimes labeled pimentón dulce)
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco (optional)

Large (18- by 13-inch) rimmed baking sheet

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 300°F with rack in middle. Grease rimmed baking sheet with oil.
  • Combine popcorn, tortilla chips, cheese crackers, and corn nuts in a large bowl.
  • Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Remove pan from heat and whisk in barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, paprika, chili and garlic powders, and Tabasco, if using.
  • Drizzle barbecue sauce mixture over snack mix and stir until combined well.

2 cups crispy rice cereal squares (such as Rice Chex®)
1 cup honey-roasted peanuts
4 tablespoons vegetable oil, or more as needed
3 tablespoons barbeque seasoning
1 ½ teaspoons ground paprika

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine crackers, pretzels, cereal squares, and peanuts in a large bowl. Slowly drizzle oil over cracker mixture and gently stir mixture with your hands until well coated, adding more oil, if necessary.

1 cup pretzels
1 cup pecans
1 cup walnuts
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Blues Hog Original Barbecue Sauce (or favorite BBQ sauce)
1/4 cup Blues Hog Tennessee Red Barbecue Sauce (or favorite hot sauce)
2 tablespoons Blues Hog Sweet & Savory Seasoning (or favorite sweet rub)

Steps:

  • Preheat your smoker to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). If using a Gateway Drum Smoker, move the rack to the top level.
  • In the large foil tray, combine the various Chex, Cheez-its, pretzels, pecans, and walnuts.
  • Melt together the butter, BBQ sauce, spicy sauce, and BBQ rub. Stir to combine well.
  • Pour the melted mixture over the snack mix and stir until well combined.
  • Place the foil tray into the preheated smoker and cook for one hour stirring every 15 minutes.
