1 tablespoon butter
½ onion, finely chopped
2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into cubes
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed

1 ½ pounds ground beef
1 (6 ounce) can tomato sauce
