BIG BAD BARBECUE BROWNIE BURGERS
Er, it's not really a brownie. I hope that hasn't thrown you off or anything. This is my all time favorite burger that was served at Sanfords, before they removed it from the menu and looked me strangely when I tried to describe it. Oh, well, I won't let the man get me down. It's pretty much default for me these days to use lighter ingredients, but of course feel free to do as you please.

Steps:
- Prepare burgers as you usually would. I like to season mine with dried parsley, onion flakes, pepper, and season salt. 1 lb of ground beef (for me) equals four burgers.
- Grill burgers to your preference.
- Top grilled burgers with a goodly amount of cream cheese, then deli ham on top of cream cheese. Top it all with a dollop of barbecue sauce. My husband likes his with a pineapple slice, but I like it without.
- I usually whip up some oven fries, potato salad, or (if I'm feeling bogged by the week) chips as a side.

Tips:
- Choose the right bun: The bun is an important part of any burger, so make sure to choose one that is sturdy enough to hold up to the juicy patty and toppings. Brioche and potato buns are popular choices, but you can also use a classic hamburger bun.
- Cook the patties to perfection: The best burgers are cooked to a juicy medium-rare or medium doneness. To achieve this, cook the patties over medium heat for about 4 minutes per side, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the center reads 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Season the patties generously: Don't be afraid to season the patties liberally with salt and pepper. You can also add other spices, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika.
- Use fresh toppings: Fresh toppings are essential for a delicious burger. Use crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and thinly sliced onions. You can also add other toppings, such as cheese, bacon, or avocado.
- Build the burger properly: When building the burger, start with the bottom bun, then add the patty, cheese, toppings, and finally the top bun.
