- 4. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with the crumble topping. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool, and cut into 9 large squares.
Tips:
- Use fresh or frozen blueberries for the best flavor.
- If you don't have any sour cream, you can substitute plain yogurt or buttermilk.
- Be sure to measure your flour correctly. Too much flour will make the cake dry.
- Mix the wet and dry ingredients separately before combining them. This will help to prevent overmixing, which can make the cake tough.
- Don't overbeat the batter. Overbeating will make the cake dense.
- Bake the cake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely before serving.
- Serve the cake with fresh fruit, whipped cream, or ice cream.
Conclusion:
Blueberry crumb coffee cake is a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast or brunch treat. It's perfect for any occasion, and it's sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
