BOB EVANS SUNRISE SQUARES
I clipped this recipe out of a coupon flyer and made a couple of modifications. This is the recipe I use for our Christmas morning breakfast casserole.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 11X7 baking dish.
- Crumble and cook sausage and onion in medium skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain off fat.
- Spread bread cubes in dish; top with sausage, peppers, and cheese.
- Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and mustard until well blended; pour over cheese.
- Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until set. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into squares; serve hot. Refrigerate leftovers.
- Note: This may be made the day before and refrigerated overnight. Baking time should be increased to an hour.

SUNRISE SQUARES
This colorful breakfast is a great way to entertain out of town guests without waking up at the crack of dawn. This can also be made the day before, or take it to go by placing squares between the halves of toasted English muffins.

- Preheat oven to 425F. Crumble and cook sausage in medium skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain off any drippings. Line bottom of greased 13" x 9" baking dish with crescent roll dough, firmly pressing perforations to seal. Sprinkle with sausage and cheese. Combine remaining ingredients in medium bowl until blended; pour over sausage. Bake 15 minutes or until set. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into squares; serve hot. Refrigerate leftovers.
