Tips:

  • Choose a bottom round roast that is about 2-3 pounds in size. A larger roast will not cook evenly in the air fryer.
  • Trim any excess fat from the roast. This will help the roast cook evenly and prevent it from becoming greasy.
  • Season the roast with salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs and spices. You can also add a rub or marinade to the roast for extra flavor.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Place the roast in the air fryer basket. Make sure that the roast is not touching the sides of the basket.
  • Cook the roast for 20-25 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature of the roast reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare, 160 degrees Fahrenheit for medium, or 170 degrees Fahrenheit for well-done.
  • Let the roast rest for 10-15 minutes before carving and serving.

Conclusion:

Cooking a bottom round roast in an air fryer is a delicious and easy way to enjoy this lean and flavorful cut of beef. The air fryer cooks the roast evenly and quickly, resulting in a tender and juicy roast that is perfect for any occasion. With a little planning and preparation, you can easily make a delicious bottom round roast in your air fryer that the whole family will love.
