BREAD MACHINE SWEDISH COFFEE BREAD
This is a delicious Swedish coffee bread recipe converted for use with a bread maker! My family is Swedish, and ever year we make this recipe just in time for Christmas. We always enjoy it especially on Christmas morning. We used to make a long, drawn out version that was my great-grandmother's recipe, but thanks to modern conveniences like the bread maker it takes much less time and work! I hope your family enjoys this as much as mine has.

Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients: Fresh ingredients will always produce the best results, so make sure to use the freshest yeast, flour, butter, and eggs that you can find.
- Proof the yeast: Proofing the yeast is an important step that helps to ensure that the yeast is active and will produce a good rise. To proof the yeast, dissolve the yeast in warm water (105-115°F) and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, until it becomes foamy.
- Use the correct amount of flour: Too much flour will make the coffee cake dry and tough, so be sure to measure the flour carefully. If you're not sure how much flour to use, start with a little less and add more until the dough is the right consistency.
- Knead the dough properly: Kneading the dough helps to develop the gluten in the flour, which gives the coffee cake a chewy texture. Knead the dough for at least 5 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rise: After kneading, let the dough rise in a warm place until it has doubled in size. This usually takes about 1-2 hours.
- Bake the coffee cake at the right temperature: The coffee cake should be baked at 350°F for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Conclusion:
Bread machine yeast coffee cake is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. With a few simple ingredients and a bread machine, you can have a fresh, homemade coffee cake in no time. So next time you're looking for a sweet treat, give this recipe a try.
