Tips for Making Bubbling Cocktails

  • Use fresh ingredients. The fresher the ingredients, the better the cocktail will taste. This is especially important for fruits and herbs.
  • Choose the right type of sparkling wine or champagne. Not all sparkling wines or champagnes are created equal. For a classic bubbling cocktail, use a Brut or Extra Brut sparkling wine. For a sweeter cocktail, use a Demi-Sec or Doux sparkling wine.
  • Add the sparkling wine or champagne at the end. This will help to preserve the bubbles.
  • Garnish with a twist of lemon or lime. This will add a touch of citrus flavor and aroma.
  • Serve immediately. Bubbling cocktails are best enjoyed fresh.
