1 c sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c all purpose flour
1/2 c baking cocoa
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 c buttermilk
1/3 c pecans, chopped
(CHOCOLATE HONEY BUTTER)

  • 5. Fold in pecans
  • 6. Pour into a greased 9 X 5 X 3-inch loaf pan
  • 7. Bake at 350 degrees F for 55 - 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: This will make a big difference in the taste of your bread. Look for high-quality buttermilk, chocolate chips, and cocoa powder.
  • Measure your ingredients accurately: This is important for any baking recipe, but especially for buttermilk chocolate bread. Too much or too little of an ingredient can throw off the balance of the bread.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can result in a tough, dense bread. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Let the batter rest before baking: This will allow the gluten in the flour to relax, resulting in a lighter, more tender bread.
  • Bake the bread at the right temperature: The ideal temperature for baking buttermilk chocolate bread is 350 degrees Fahrenheit. If the oven is too hot, the bread will brown too quickly and the inside will be undercooked. If the oven is too cool, the bread will not rise properly.
  • Test the bread for doneness: Insert a toothpick into the center of the bread. If it comes out clean, the bread is done. If it comes out with batter or crumbs attached, the bread needs to bake for a few more minutes.

Conclusion:

Buttermilk chocolate bread is a delicious and easy-to-make treat. With its moist crumb, rich chocolate flavor, and hints of buttermilk tang, this bread is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. Whether you're serving it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, buttermilk chocolate bread is a versatile bread that can be enjoyed in many different ways.
