Tips:

  • Choose the right pork chops: Bone-in pork chops are more flavorful than boneless, and they help keep the meat moist during cooking. Look for pork chops that are about 1 inch thick.
  • Season the pork chops well: Pork chops can easily become bland, so it's important to season them well before cooking. A simple seasoning of salt, pepper, and garlic powder is a good starting point. You can also add other spices or herbs, such as paprika, cumin, or oregano.
  • Cook the pork chops over medium heat: Cooking the pork chops over medium heat helps prevent them from becoming dry and tough. Cook the pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.
  • Make sure the pork chops are cooked through: The best way to tell if pork chops are cooked through is to use a meat thermometer. Insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the pork chop. The pork chop is cooked through when the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Serve the pork chops with your favorite sides: Pork chops can be served with a variety of sides, such as mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables. You can also serve them with a sauce, such as a pan sauce or a barbecue sauce.
