Tips:

  • Choose tender-stem broccoli: Look for broccoli with bright green florets and tender stems. Avoid broccoli with yellowing or wilted florets, or tough, woody stems.
  • Cut the broccoli into even-sized florets: This will help them cook evenly in the foil packets.
  • Use a variety of vegetables: Feel free to add other vegetables to your foil packets, such as bell peppers, carrots, or zucchini.
  • Don't overcrowd the foil packets: Make sure there is enough room for the vegetables and chicken to cook properly.
  • Seal the foil packets tightly: This will prevent the steam from escaping and help the vegetables cook evenly.
  • Cook the foil packets over medium heat: This will help prevent the vegetables from burning.

Conclusion:

Chicken and broccoli foil packets are a healthy and delicious way to enjoy a quick and easy meal. They are also a great way to use up leftover chicken or broccoli. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can have a tasty and nutritious meal that the whole family will love.
