My mom taught me how to make this when I was a teenager and I've been making it ever since. This is great to accompany a fish dish.

Tips:
- Use fresh clams: Fresh clams will give your soup the best flavor. If you can't find fresh clams, you can use frozen clams, but be sure to thaw them completely before using.
- Soak the clams in cold water: Soaking the clams in cold water will help to remove any grit or sand.
- Use a variety of vegetables: This recipe calls for tomatoes, onions, and celery, but you can also add other vegetables, such as carrots, potatoes, or zucchini.
- Use a good quality rice: The type of rice you use will affect the texture of your soup. I recommend using a medium-grain rice, such as Arborio or Carnaroli.
- Cook the rice until it is al dente: You don't want the rice to be overcooked, or it will become mushy.
- Season the soup to taste: Add salt, pepper, and other seasonings to taste. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little spice.
- Serve the soup with a crusty bread or crackers: This will help to soak up the delicious broth.
Conclusion:
This clam with tomato and rice soup is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. It is packed with flavor and nutrients, and it is sure to be a hit with your family and friends. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy soup recipe, give this one a try.
