Time 1h10m

Yield 12

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cans (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Dough Sheet
1 package (7 oz) sliced Swiss cheese (10 slices)
1 cup packed fresh baby spinach leaves
1/2 cup chopped cooked bacon
3/4 lb thinly sliced deli turkey
1/2 cup chopped fresh spinach leaves
1/2 cup chopped tomato

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In small bowl, mix mayonnaise and garlic powder. Cover and refrigerate 1/4 cup of the mayonnaise mixture, reserving for topping.
  • Unroll 1 dough sheet on work surface; reshape into 12x8-inch rectangle. Spread 2 tablespoons of the remaining mayonnaise mixture onto dough sheet, to within 1 inch of one of the short ends, leaving room to seal the seams.
  • Place half of the cheese slices evenly on top of dough; layer with 1/2 cup of the spinach leaves, half of the bacon and half of the turkey. Starting on the short, topped edge of rectangle, roll up tightly, and pinch seam together. Repeat for remaining dough, mayonnaise, cheese, spinach leaves, bacon and turkey.
  • With serrated knife, carefully cut each roll into 6 slices, about 1 1/4 inches wide, and arrange spiral sides up in baking dish, reshaping into round shapes, if necessary.
  • Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown and dough is baked through. Cool 10 minutes.
  • Remove mayonnaise mixture from refrigerator; transfer to small, resealable food-storage plastic bag. Cut small corner off one of the ends of bag, and squeeze onto roll-ups. Garnish with Topping ingredients.

Tips:

  • Choose the right bread. Club roll-ups can be made with a variety of breads, but the most popular are white bread, wheat bread, and sourdough bread. White bread is the lightest and fluffiest, while wheat bread is more hearty and nutritious. Sourdough bread has a slightly tangy flavor that pairs well with the other ingredients in club roll-ups.
  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients. The better the quality of your ingredients, the better your club roll-ups will taste. Look for fresh, ripe vegetables and fruits, and use high-quality meats and cheeses.
  • Spread the filling evenly. When assembling your club roll-ups, be sure to spread the filling evenly so that each bite is packed with flavor.
  • Roll the bread tightly. Once you have spread the filling on the bread, roll it up tightly so that the filling doesn't fall out. You can use a toothpick or skewer to secure the roll-ups if necessary.
  • Chill the roll-ups before serving. Chilling the roll-ups before serving helps to firm them up and makes them easier to slice.

Conclusion:

Club roll-ups are a delicious and versatile appetizer or snack that can be made with a variety of ingredients. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, or a quick and easy meal. With a little planning and preparation, you can easily make club roll-ups that are sure to impress your friends and family.
