LIME COTTAGE SALAD

Lime Cottage Salad image

This is a refreshing summer salad that goes with just about anything. This does not have as many ingredients as some do, but it is sooo good, and very easy to make as I usually have all three of the ingredients on hand most of the time. It is a pretty green and I just love it. We all do. I make it all year long. If you make it with the sugar-free jello and low-fat cottage cheese, it is a great Weight Watcher dish. I have used both kinds, and they both taste the same. It has only 1-2 points per serving.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh cottage cheese, gelatin, and fruits or vegetables will produce the best-tasting mold.
  • Bloom the gelatin properly: This will help to ensure that the mold sets properly.
  • Don't over-mix the ingredients: Over-mixing can cause the mold to become tough.
  • Chill the mold properly: This will help to ensure that the mold sets properly and has a firm texture.
  • Unmold the mold carefully: To prevent the mold from breaking, dip the mold in warm water for a few seconds before unmolding.

Conclusion:

Cottage cheese gelatin mold is a delicious and refreshing dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your own taste. With a little creativity, you can create a truly unique and impressive dish that will wow your guests.
