CHERRY CRANBERRY SALAD
My mom has made this every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas for as long as I can remember, and now I am the one making it for her to continue the tradition. We always use frozen cranberries, but fresh works fine too. Don't ever settle for cranberry salad from a can when you can make something this tasty so easy. I've had many people say they don't like cranberries but love this!

Tips:
- Use fresh cranberries and black cherries: Fresh berries will give your salad the best flavor. If you can't find fresh berries, frozen berries can also be used.
- Soak the gelatin in cold water before adding it to the hot liquid: This will help prevent the gelatin from clumping.
- Let the gelatin mixture cool slightly before adding it to the fruit: This will help prevent the fruit from cooking.
- Chill the salad for at least 4 hours before serving: This will give the gelatin time to set.
- Serve the salad with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream: This will add a delicious finishing touch.
