Tips:
- Prep Your Ingredients: Dice the butter and cream cheese into small pieces to make them easier to cream together.
- Chill Your Dough: Chilling the dough will prevent it from spreading too much in the oven, resulting in a neater and more defined square.
- Use Fresh Cranberries: Fresh cranberries offer a bright and tart flavor, but you can also use frozen cranberries if fresh ones are unavailable.
- Don't Overmix the Batter: Overmixed batter can result in a tough and dense crust. Mix only until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake Until Golden Brown: The edges of the squares should be golden brown, and the center should be set but still slightly soft.
Conclusion:
Cranberry graham squares are a delightful treat that combines a sweet and tangy filling with a buttery graham crust. With their vibrant color and delicious flavor, they are perfect for any occasion. Whether you're serving them at a party or enjoying them as a sweet snack, these squares are sure to be a hit. So next time you're looking for a simple and satisfying dessert, give this recipe a try.
