1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder

Drop by spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets. It's best to let the clumps of cookie dough have a little height. The cookies stay lighter that way. 7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from baking sheets to cool on wire racks. 8. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Use high-quality dark chocolate: The quality of the chocolate you use will greatly impact the flavor of your cookies. Look for a dark chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make the cookies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough for at least 30 minutes will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookies at a high temperature: Baking the cookies at a high temperature will help them develop a crispy exterior and a chewy interior.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before enjoying: The cookies will continue to set as they cool. Let them cool completely before enjoying them for the best flavor and texture.
