Essential tips to master this recipe

  • Use high-quality ingredients: The quality of your ingredients will have a significant impact on the overall taste of the dish. Use fresh, flavorful rice and high-quality diced or shredded (pulled) seasoned (or unflavored/bland) or unsesasoned/bland seasoned/unflavored or unsesasoned/bland meat. Using the best ingredients possible will help you achieve the best results.
  • Don't overcook the rice: The rice should be al-dente and still slightly firm to the bit, not too soft or too hard and also not too dry. It shoud be fluffy, not clumpy.
  • Use a flavorful broth or stock: The broth is very important and should be very flavorful. It's recommended to use chicken stock or a mixture of chicken stock andvegetable broth. If you don't have any on hand, you could also use water, but it will be less flavorful.
  • Add the diced seasoned/unflavored or unsesasoned/bland meat and the rice at the end of cooking: Adding the meat and rice at the end will help to prevent them from overcooking and becoming too dry. If you add the rice and meat too early, it will absorb too much liquid, becoming too soft.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs: Once the diced seasoned/unflavored or unsesasoned/bland meat and rice is done cooking and ready to serve, garnish with fresh herbs. This will add freshness and color to your dish and also help to enhance the flavors. It's very important to avoid any dry herbs.
