Number Of Ingredients 3

1.5 lb flank steak
4 oz dijon mustard
pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Rub flank steak with dijon mustard.
  • 2. Marinate 6 to 8 hours in the refrigerator.
  • 3. Coat both sides of steak with fresh ground black pepper.
  • 4. Grill 6 to 8 minutes per side or until desired degree of doneness.

Tips:

  • Choose a good quality flank steak. Look for a steak that is at least 1 inch thick and has good marbling. This will ensure that your steak is tender and flavorful.
  • Marinate the steak for at least 30 minutes. This will help to tenderize the steak and infuse it with flavor. You can use a variety of marinades, but a simple olive oil, Dijon mustard, garlic, and herb marinade is always a good choice.
  • Cook the steak over high heat. This will help to sear the steak and lock in the juices. Cook the steak for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
  • Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing. This will help to keep the juices from running out of the steak and make it more tender.
  • Serve the steak with your favorite sides. Some popular choices include roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.

Conclusion:

Dijon flank steak is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal or a special occasion. By following these tips, you can make sure that your Dijon flank steak is tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
