- Heat olive oil in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir in flour, nutritional yeast, onion powder, and garlic powder with a fork to make a smooth paste. Cook and stir paste for 1 minute. Add 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons water and 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons almond milk gradually, stirring gravy continuously with the fork to prevent lumps.
- Season gravy with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened, 3 to 5 minutes.

Tips:
- Use vegetable broth instead of chicken or beef broth to make a vegan gravy. Vegetable broth is just as flavorful and will give your gravy a rich, savory taste.
- If you don't have vegetable broth, you can use water. However, you may need to add some additional seasonings to your gravy to give it more flavor.
- To make a gluten-free gravy, use gluten-free flour. You can also use cornstarch or arrowroot powder to thicken your gravy.
- If you want a thicker gravy, add more flour or cornstarch. If you want a thinner gravy, add more broth or water.
- Be sure to cook your gravy over medium heat and stir it constantly. This will help prevent it from burning or sticking to the pan.
- Season your gravy to taste with salt, pepper, and other herbs and spices. You can also add a splash of soy sauce or tamari for extra flavor.
- Serve your gravy immediately over your favorite vegan dishes, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or seitan.
Conclusion:
With these recipes and tips, you can easily make a delicious and flavorful vegan gravy that will impress your family and friends. So next time you're looking for a tasty way to add some extra flavor to your meals, give one of these vegan gravy recipes a try. You won't be disappointed!
