Steps:
- Place 2 pieces of white bread in the toaster on a light setting. Heat skillet over medium heat with 2 tablespoons butter. While the bread is toasting, in a small bowl, using a fork mash the ripe banana until it reaches a smooth consistency. Using a knife, take both pieces of the toasted bread and spread 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter, topping 1 side with the mashed banana. Place 1 slice of bread on top of the other forming a sandwich. Place sandwich in hot skillet browning each side, flipping with a spatula, about 2 minutes per side. Take out of skillet, slice on a diagonal and serve on a plate.

ELVIS SMOOTHIE (ALMOND AND BANANA)
This is what Elvis would drink if he were alive and on a health kick! It's based off his love for the peanut butter and banana, but this has some substitutions and additions. Freeze the bananas the night before so that they take the place of the ice. If you add enough almond butter, this can taste exactly like banana bread. Or if you add chocolate or espresso, it tastes like bananas dipped in chocolate fondue. This can easily be a dessert smoothie!!

Tips:
- Choose ripe bananas for the smoothest texture and best flavor. Overripe bananas are ideal, as they're sweeter and blend more easily.
- Use unsweetened almond milk for a healthier option. Sweetened almond milk contains added sugar, which can increase the calorie and carbohydrate content of your smoothie.
- Add a scoop of protein powder for a boost of nutrition. Protein powder can help you feel fuller longer and can also help you increase your muscle mass.
- Top your smoothie with fresh fruit, nuts, or seeds for extra flavor and texture. Some popular toppings include berries, bananas, almonds, and chia seeds.
- Enjoy your smoothie immediately, or store it in the refrigerator for later. Smoothies are best enjoyed fresh, but they can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Conclusion:
The Elvis smoothie is a delicious and nutritious way to start your day or refuel after a workout. With its combination of healthy fats, protein, and carbohydrates, this smoothie will keep you feeling satisfied and energized for hours.
So next time you're looking for a quick and easy breakfast or snack, give the Elvis smoothie a try. You won't be disappointed!
