FROZEN PASSION

Frozen Passion image

This is great on a super-hot day!

Provided by Jan Mullikin

Categories     Non-Alcoholic Drinks

Time 5m

Number Of Ingredients 2

1 2-liter bottle or 5 (12 oz.) cans red pop (or cream soda) or any flavor pop you like!
2 14 oz. cans eagle brand condensed milk.

Steps:

  • 1. Mix Eagle Brand with soft drink.
  • 2. Freeze in an ice cream freezer. I use a Donvier hand freezer but you could put it in an ice cube tray or pan of any sort. Freeze and serve! I like to let it just be slushy and delicious! You can use your favorite orange soda or any flavor pop.

Tips:

  • Use ripe, fresh fruit: The quality of your fruit will greatly affect the taste of your frozen passion fruit dessert. Choose fruit that is ripe, but not overripe, and free of blemishes.
  • Freeze the fruit quickly: Once you have prepared your fruit, freeze it as quickly as possible to preserve its flavor and texture. You can do this by spreading the fruit in a single layer on a baking sheet and placing it in the freezer for 30 minutes, before transferring it to a freezer bag or container.
  • Use a high-powered blender: When making frozen passion fruit desserts, it is important to use a high-powered blender to ensure that the mixture is smooth and creamy. A regular blender may not be powerful enough to break down the ice and frozen fruit properly.
  • Add other ingredients to taste: Depending on your personal preferences, you can add other ingredients to your frozen passion fruit dessert to enhance the flavor. Some popular additions include honey, sugar, yogurt, or coconut milk.
  • Serve immediately: Frozen passion fruit desserts are best served immediately after they are made. This is because the ice cream will start to melt and the mixture will become less creamy over time.

Conclusion:

Frozen passion fruit desserts are a delicious and refreshing way to enjoy this tropical fruit. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a variety of frozen treats that are perfect for any occasion. Whether you are looking for a healthy snack, a sweet treat, or a refreshing drink, there is a frozen passion fruit dessert that is sure to please everyone. So next time you have some passion fruit on hand, be sure to try one of these recipes and enjoy the delicious taste of the tropics!
