1 cup Dark Karo syrup
1 cup granulated sugar
1 -2 cup chopped pecans
6 tablespoons butter, room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pinch salt
1 unbaked pie shell

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients and pour into unbaked pie shell.
  • Bake until filling is set, pecans look toasted, and pie crust is nicely browned.

1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1/4 cup butter, melted
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1-3/4 cups whipped topping
1 pastry shell (9 inches), baked and cooled
1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
