Tips for Making Glazed Raisin Cinnamon Biscuits

  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh ingredients will give your biscuits the best flavor. Make sure your butter is cold and your baking powder is fresh.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make your biscuits tough. Mix the dough just until it comes together.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough before baking will help the biscuits rise evenly. You can chill the dough for up to 24 hours.
  • Bake the biscuits in a hot oven: A hot oven will help the biscuits rise quickly and evenly. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit before baking the biscuits.
  • Brush the biscuits with glaze while they are still warm: Brushing the biscuits with glaze while they are still warm will help the glaze soak into the biscuits and give them a delicious flavor.
