Tips:

  • Choose the right salmon: Look for wild-caught salmon if possible, as it is typically leaner and has a more delicate flavor than farmed salmon.
  • Use fresh herbs: Fresh herbs like dill, parsley, and thyme can really brighten up the flavor of baked salmon. Chop them finely and sprinkle them over the fish before baking.
  • Don't overcook the salmon: Salmon is a delicate fish, so it's important to not overcook it. Bake it until it is just cooked through, otherwise it will become dry and tough.
  • Use a good quality olive oil: A good quality olive oil will help to keep the salmon moist and flavorful. Drizzle it over the fish before baking.
  • Add some lemon juice: Lemon juice is a classic pairing for salmon. It adds a bright, citrusy flavor that really complements the fish.

Conclusion:

Baked salmon is a delicious and healthy meal that can be prepared in just a few minutes. By following these tips, you can ensure that your baked salmon comes out perfect every time. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy dinner, give baked salmon a try.
