1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2/3 cup butter, melted
1 package yellow cake mix (regular size)
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon milk

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the cracker crumbs, brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon. Stir in butter; set aside. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. , Pour half of the batter into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Sprinkle with half of the graham cracker mixture. 1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/3 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
4 tablespoons butter
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons butter, room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg, room temperature
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups fresh blueberries

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 385 degrees. Grease a 9- or 10-inch pie plate.
  • For the streusel topping, use a fork and a small bowl to blend the sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon and butter until crumbly. Set aside.
  • For the cake, sift together flour, baking powder and salt into a medium bowl.
  • In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add the egg, milk and vanilla and beat until smooth. Mix in the dry ingredients, then fold in the blueberries.

1 1/2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup shortening
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Steps:

  • BATTER.
  • Sift the flour once before measuring.
  • Then sift the flour, baking powder, & sugar together.
  • Cut in shortening until mixture is like corn meal.
  • Blend in well beaten egg mixed with milk.
  • Add the vanilla and beat just enough to mix well.
  • Pour half the batter into a well greased & floured pan.
  • STREUSEL- Mix dry ingredients together. Rub in butter and add the chopped nuts.
  • Sprinkle with half of the streusel mixture.
