2 garlic cloves, minced
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon cumin
2 tablespoons cilantro, minced
1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced

Steps:

  • Combine the first nine marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add the chicken breasts and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for as little as 30 minutes or up to 4 hours. Tips for Making Grilled Mexican Chicken Breast

  • Use a flavorful marinade. This is essential for infusing the chicken with flavor. Try a marinade made with lime juice, garlic, chili powder, cumin, and olive oil.
  • Grill the chicken over medium heat. This will help to prevent the chicken from drying out. Cook the chicken for about 10 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the chicken rest before serving. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and flavorful.
  • Serve the chicken with your favorite toppings. Some popular options include salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and shredded cheese.
