Garnish with an 8" stick of cinnamon. Optional but will add much more cinnamon flavor? Enjoy but please drink responsibly by never drinking and driving!!

Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients. The fresher your ingredients, the better your hot buttered rum batter will be. This means using real butter, fresh milk, and eggs.
- Don't overbeat the batter. Overbeating the batter will make it tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Let the batter rest. Letting the batter rest for 30 minutes before cooking will help it develop flavor and become more tender.
- Cook the batter over medium heat. Cooking the batter over medium heat will help it cook evenly and prevent it from burning.
- Serve the batter warm. Hot buttered rum batter is best served warm. You can reheat it in the microwave or over low heat on the stovetop.
