1 can (15-1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup chopped onion

1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef (90% lean)
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded Velveeta

Steps:

  • In a greased 13x9-in. baking dish, layer the potatoes, corn, green pepper, onion and carrots. Crumble beef over vegetables. Pour tomato sauce over top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. , Cover and bake at 350° for 2 hours or until meat is no longer pink and a thermometer reads 160°. Sprinkle with cheese. 2 1/2 lbs ground sirloin
3 garlic cloves, pressed
1 large brown onion, finely chopped
2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
2 tablespoons dry basil
1 (10 ounce) package spinach fettuccine
1 (4 ounce) package sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk

Steps:

  • NOTE: Extra lean ground beef may be used in place of ground sirloin.
  • Crumble ground beef into a wide frying pan over medium heat, cooking and stirring until browned.
  • Discard all excess fat and stir in garlic, onion, tomato sauce, and basil.
  • Reduce heat, cover loosely, and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in a 6- to 8-quart pan, cook pasta according to package directions, until just tender to bite - do not overcook.
  • Spoon meat mixture into a 9x12 casserole dish.

1 -2 jalapeno pepper (optional)

3 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
salt and pepper
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese (or to taste)
4 cups medium noodles (use any kind of pasta you desire, 4 cups measured after cooking)

1/2 cup sour cream
