GIN SLUSH
This gin slush is a tradition in my family; I've modified my SIL's recipe to this one, which I prefer. It keeps a long time in the freezer and serves a crowd.

Yield 1 large pot of slush
Number Of Ingredients 7
Steps:
- In a large pot, combine all ingredients and stir well; put the lid on.
- Freeze for a minimum of 24 hours.
- This makes a slushy drink; it won't freeze solid because of the gin-- serve 1/3 slush and 2/3 Wink (a grapefruit pop); use 7-up or Sprite if you can't find Wink.
Tips:
- Use high-quality gin for the best flavor. A citrusy or herbal gin will pair well with the lemon flavors.
- Freshly squeezed lemon juice is always best, but you can use bottled lemon juice in a pinch.
- If you don't have a blender, you can make this slush by hand. Simply combine the gin, lemon juice, sugar, and water in a bowl and whisk until well combined. Then, freeze for at least 4 hours, stirring every hour or so to break up the ice crystals.
- Garnish your slush with a lemon wedge or twist for a refreshing presentation.
- You can also add other ingredients to your slush, such as berries, mint, or cucumber. Get creative and experiment with different flavors!
Conclusion:
The lemon gin slush is a refreshing and delicious cocktail that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your own taste. So next time you are looking for a cool and refreshing drink, give the lemon gin slush a try.
