This Berry Lime Slush is a frosty, refreshing summer beverage!

Provided by Ashley Fehr

Categories     Drinks

Time 5m

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 can lime concentrate
1 can berry punch concentrate
2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
1 cup granulated sugar
10 cups of water
Lemon Lime soda or sparkling water

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine concentrates, strawberries and sugar and puree until smooth.
  • Stir in water (this recipe will fit perfectly in a 4L ice cream pail if you have an empty one laying around).
  • Freeze. I like to do this in smaller 1-2 cup containers so it's easy to take out 1 or 2 servings, but you can freeze it in one large batch if you desire.
  • Remove from the freezer 1-2 hours before serving (depending on the size of your containers -- smaller will thaw more quickly). Spoon into glasses and fill cup with lemon lime soda or sparkling water.

Tips:

  • Prep Your Ingredients: Before you start, wash and slice the limes and berries. Also, chill your white wine and sparkling water to ensure the slush is nice and cold.
  • Use Frozen Berries: To save time and add an extra chill to your slush, use frozen berries instead of fresh ones. If using frozen berries, there's no need to thaw them before blending.
