Better than that famous chicken restaurant chain, I promise. Mix together and pour over grated or diced cabbage. Keeps in the fridge for several weeks because of the vinegar.

Tips:

  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better your coleslaw will taste. Look for crisp cabbage, carrots, and celery, and use a good-quality mayonnaise.
  • Shred the cabbage and carrots finely: This will help the dressing to coat the vegetables evenly and make the coleslaw easier to eat.
  • Use a light hand with the dressing: You don't want to drown the coleslaw in dressing. Just enough to coat the vegetables is all you need.
  • Let the coleslaw chill for at least 30 minutes before serving: This will allow the flavors to meld and the coleslaw to become more flavorful.
  • Garnish the coleslaw with fresh herbs or chopped nuts: This will add a pop of color and flavor.

Conclusion:

Lone Star coleslaw is a delicious and refreshing side dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. With its creamy, tangy dressing and crunchy vegetables, Lone Star coleslaw is sure to be a hit at your next gathering.
