Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. Fresh vegetables, flavorful chicken broth, and creamy Asiago cheese are essential.
  • Don't skimp on the herbs and spices. They add a lot of flavor to the soup. Oregano, basil, thyme, and garlic are all good choices.
  • Don't overcook the chicken. It should be cooked through, but not dry. About 10-12 minutes of simmering is usually sufficient.
  • Serve the soup with a side of crusty bread or crackers for dipping. It's also delicious topped with a dollop of sour cream or yogurt.
  • If you want a thicker soup, you can add a cornstarch slurry. Just mix together equal parts cornstarch and water, then whisk it into the soup until it reaches the desired consistency.

Conclusion:

This Maggiano's Little Italy Chicken Asiago Soup Copycat is a quick and easy weeknight meal that the whole family will love. It's creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Plus, it's a great way to use up leftover chicken. So next time you're looking for a comforting and delicious soup, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
